Samaritan House Crises Center for children and women victims of abuse, trafficking or unsupported women
Samaritans house provides short-term social services within the community in an environment close to the family one. The services are developed for children up to 18 years and women victims of abuse, trafficking or unsupported women. Their daily necessities are met and social-psychological support is provided. The stay within the house could be up to six months. The capacity is 18 places.
The crises center has been functioning since January 2004. There is an opportunity for emergency placements there for children and women in emotional shock after abuse or violence. The clients can live in a protected environment which is a necessity in the process of their strengths’ recruitment. Specialized team provides direct social support for meeting their emergency needs.
The social services in the Center are towards meeting clients’ daily needs; psycho-social support is also provided for recovery and integration. All services are for free.
