More people understand the need and donate blood

The sixth blood donation initiative, organized by the Samaritans team was successful, and potentially saved 69 lives! "More people understand the need and come here motivated to donate blood" - said Maria Daneva , one of the organizers of the blood donation initiative."Fortunately, we have regular donors who did not miss any of our initiatives".

The whole world observes June 14 as an International Day of voluntary blood donors. The Samaritans Association together with the Regional Centre of Haematology - Stara Zagora is organizing their sixth blood donation campaign this week. It is part of the Samaritans campaign aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation and expressing great gratitude to voluntary donors for their life-saving gift - the donated blood.

Today and tomorrow (March 31 and April 1) Sofia Club "Super" is guest in Stara Zagora. The idea is to visit the Zaraza club and to obtain practical knowledge and skills related to field work. Samaritans Association provides social services to adoptive parents

Samaritans Association provides services to adoptive parents. The idea is to support the adoption parents - candidates through participating in trainings and providing them subsequent support.

The main aim of the trainings is to support the families in making decisions concerning adoption. The other target is to build a relationship between the candidates and professionals, so that after the adoption the family will receive the subsequent support and help from them.
